Andeth Ilchammar - Hulhorn (mayor) of Selgaunt. He is rumoured to be a madman and responsible for the recent corruption of the city. Miradorn Naraithas - Captain of The Black Knights - the city's militia. He rules his men and the streets of Selgaunt with an iron fist. Rumour has it that he is, in fact, a Blackguard and has been hiring the more brutal thugs of the city into the ranks. Nathania Ulaven - High Priestess of the Church of Cyric. Renowned for her beauty, it is said she lures men to the Dark Sun like moths to a flame. Mad John Cruikshank - An infamous pirate who raids the coast and ships at sea and has so far managed to elude the Sembian Navy. Locals say he enjoys the game of cat and mouse with the navy and the Black Knights, often making an appearance late in the evening at some of the taverns of Selgaunt. Admiral Veros - He commands the Sembian Navy, based in Selgaunt. Rumoured to have fallen out of favour with the Hulorn. Jelkins - Owner/bartender of the Black Stag Inn and Tavern in Chancelgaunt Quarter East. Larris Soargyl - Eldest son of the House of Soargyl. The Soargyl's are one of the more wealthy and notorious merchant families in Selgaunt.
